What does a book lover in a not-so-happy realationship turn to? That’s right. I turned to romance books and slowly crafting my own happily every after in the form of a romance book. That’s a little how I created my debut and thus the universe that is set to bloom from it.

What about me as an author? Elleese Black is a pen name that gives me much needed balance and separation from the author world. I’m the biggest homebody. Do I feel I miss out on life when all I do is go to work, occassionally workout, and throw on my sweats to rot on the couch? Of course. But the real world is terrifying so I love staying home.

My favorite TV shows are…I love rewatching shows. You can’t beat the twenty-two+ episode seasons we used to get. One Tree Hill, Grey’s Anatomy, Chicago Fire, The Vampire Diaries…if I listed them all we’d be here all day.

My favorite things to eat and drink. I love an iced coffee everyday of the week and year. Snowing outside? Iced coffee. Raining? Iced coffee. Working from home? You bet your bottom dollar I’ve brewed my coffee and it’s chilling in the fridge to pour over ice. It was love at first sight when my mom fed me my first French Fry. In fact, I love every form of a potato. But give me a bar style French fry. You know the kind I’m talking about. With the flaky outside and the fluffy inside. OMG I need them now.

Enough about cravings. I got my B.A in Psychology. I played the violin all through high school and to my first year of college. Softball was my sport of choice although I stopped playing my junior year of high school to focus on getting a music scholarship…and I had a coach who made me HATE the sport. The same could unfortunately be said about playing the violin. I have two black cats who are the, sometimes, main stressors at home with everything they get into. My sister lives with me. I’m an Aries so if I get snarky online blame it on that. I’m also an introvert which is a weird combo with my snarkiness. And I’m too online for my own good.
